Theodoulos Garefalakis / Θεόδουλος Γαρεφαλάκης


Current Position

I am currently an associate professor at the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete.

Education

I received my B.Sc. from the University of Crete in 1995. Then I moved to Toronto, Canada, where I received my M.Sc. in 1997 and my Ph.D. in 2000 from the Univeristy of Toronto.

Research

My research interests are in number theory, combinatorics and their applications. In particular, I am interested in theoretical and algorithmic aspects of finite fields, cryptography, coding theory and enumerative combinatorics. Here is a list of my publications. Teaching
